Powys founder member Paul (Dev) Devereaux passed away on January 13th. His memorial ride will take place on Sunday March 26th, which would have been his 51st birthday.
Local Powys members will meet at the petrol station end of Llandrindod Tesco car park at 10:30 for an 11:00 start. The destination will be the statue of Our Lady of Penrhys which is where Dev’s mum Linda’s ashes are scattered. Dev wanted to be with his mum.
The route is about 60 miles in total. This isn’t a Blood Bikes only event, family and friends of all sorts will also be in attendance. We welcome any members who’d like to support the memorial to join us. Members from the south of Wales may like to join us at Glyn Tarell – which is the tea stall on the A470 half a mile north of Storey Arms. We’ll be stopping there at about 12:00, setting off again at 12:30.
Riders may wear their rider jackets on their own bikes. The Powys off duty bike will be in attendance. Any other off-duty Blood Bikes are welcome at the local AR’s discretion.
