About Blood Bikes Wales
Blood Bikes Wales is a 100% volunteer charity based in Wales, providing completely free courier service to the NHS, delivering blood samples, plasma, donated human milk, documents and other items all over Wales.
Our service is free of charge and operates on weekdays for some health board areas and across Wales from 7pm on Friday evening until midnight on Monday morning including bank holidays & even Christmas day!

We work with six NHS trusts in Wales: Swansea Bay University Health Board (Swansea) Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (Merthyr Tydfil, Llantrisant) Hywel Dda (Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire) Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (Newport, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire), Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (Wrexham and Bangor) and Powys Teaching Health Board (Ceredigion, Newport, Swansea).
Our Aim – Blood Bikes Wales is a member of the Nationwide Association of Blood Bikes which shares our quest to provide a reliable, free, high quality service to health trusts throughout the country.
